More Cabinets and Crown

Today they replaced the side panels on the island and worked on the crown.

Crown Continues

The Pantry has Returned

And crown moulding is going in.

This drawer showed up, but we are pretty sure it isn't ours.

The Antenna is Gone!

Ok, not related to the kitchen, but very exciting!

Moss is gone off the roof, too.

And then in was Gone...Again

This time a crew came in to remove the floor and prep.

Nothing happening here.

Flooring Update

The installer came back to try to repair the cracks, but didn't end up doing any work.  Very stressful.  Sounds like we may try to have a new installer give it a go for the 3rd time.

(isn't that why this was try #2?)

And then we saw this little crack in front of the fridge

(looks worse in person)

And this one in front of the island.

The project is moving upstairs again.  Sort of.

We got a new (vintage) light fixture for the master bedroom.  

Need a few more bulbs.

The old one will go in the hall downstairs.

Barstools, but No Bar

Got 3 of these ready to go once the kitchen is ready for them.

Floor is prepped...again.

The floor installer came this morning and scraped the glue off and skim-coated the whole floor.  Try #2 is scheduled for next Wednesday.

And Then It Was Gone

The floor that is.  Guess they weren't able to fix the bump.

Just a little bit worried about that bump in front of the range area.

Hallway got sanded and underlayment a little bit as well.

Hoping for a flush finish with the marmoleum.

Perimeters were easy - not too many choices to fit them in.

Island was a bit trickier.

Wood Flooring and Stairs

The hallway wood was pieced in.  It looks great from a distance, but

the surface is totally bumpy.  Hope sanding fixes that.

And there will be some work for the painters to fix, I guess.
